Major Arcana, XX · Fire

From Rosemary's own notes on the card.
Judgment upright
A major realization that changes your perspective. The angel's trumpet sounds and people are standing up out of their boxes with their arms open, and that's exactly what it feels like. Judgment is awakenings, reflection, soul lessons, accountability, rebirth, major moments of clarity. Finally understanding something on a deeper level. Something you've been circling for a long time suddenly makes sense, and your life, your lessons, your growth all look different from here.
Judgment reversed
The realization is there and you're not ready to look at it, so self-judgment has moved in where reflection should be, and the lesson comes around again. Be honest with yourself. Cruelty is a different thing, and it doesn't count as honesty.
In love
A moment of clarity about a relationship, sometimes a past one. You see it for what it was, and that understanding is its own kind of closing.
In work and money
A wake-up call about what you're doing with your time, or a reckoning with a decision you made. Accountability here is practical. Look at the numbers and the pattern, then choose from awareness.
As advice
Look honestly at the pattern and choose from what you now understand. Be accountable for your part, and forgive yourself for not seeing it sooner.
Yes or no?
Yes, because Judgment brings clarity and a fresh start, especially when you act on what you have learned. A single card shows a lean, never a promise of how things turn out.
For yourself
You finally understand something on a deeper level, and that's a rebirth. Accountability is part of it. So is forgiving yourself for not seeing it sooner.
