Accessibility
I want this site to work for you, however you use it. Here is how it's built, and how to tell me when something doesn't work.
I want this site to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, move through pages by keyboard, see less contrast, or need things to move less. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and every page is checked against them before it ships.
What the site does
Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the thing you're on is always visibly outlined. Every button, link and form field has a name a screen reader can say. Text on the dark background meets the AA contrast ratio, and you can enlarge it to 200% without anything breaking. Buttons, menu items and form controls are at least 44 pixels tall and wide, so they're easy to tap on a phone. Nothing autoplays with sound. If your device asks for reduced motion, the card flips and the slow shimmer stop. The Oracle's chat is a proper dialog: its label is announced, focus stays inside it, and Escape closes it. Video clips carry captions once they have been transcribed, and the player's controls are labeled.
Known gaps
Some client video clips don't have captions yet; they are being transcribed and captioned in batches. The checkout is Stripe's. I chose it partly because it is accessible, and I don't control it. If it, or picking a time in your Sanctuary, blocks you, email me and I'll book or sign you up by hand. [Add anything else found at the last review.]
Tell me if something doesn't work
If any part of the site is hard or impossible for you to use, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Say which page, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse (for example, VoiceOver on iPhone, or keyboard only). I reply within [REPLY TIME], and I'll fix what I can or find another way to get you what you came for.
