Community Guidelines

The few rules that keep our community a safe, kind room for everyone in it.

Draft for review

This page is not final. Rosemary and a lawyer still have to read it. Anything in [SQUARE BRACKETS] is still to be filled in.

The community is a small room inside the Sanctuary. People come here in the middle of heartbreak, grief and change, and they say things they haven't said out loud anywhere else. These few rules keep it a place where that is safe to do. By entering, you agree to them.

Sadness is welcome here. Grief, heartbreak, fear, loneliness, anger at what life has done, venting on a bad night: all of it belongs in this room, and none of it breaks a rule. So does telling me a reading didn't land for you.

Be kind. Speak to people here the way you'd want to be spoken to on your worst day. Disagreement is fine. Contempt isn't.

No swearing. I keep this space free of swearing and slurs, in English and in Spanish, however they're spelled. If something you write has a word like that in it, the site will ask you to say it another way before it goes up. It's not about being prim. People come here raw, and a quieter room helps.

Share your own experience. Don't read or diagnose other people. You can say what a card has meant in your life, and you can pull a card for someone who posts. Please don't tell someone what their cards mean, what their ex is thinking, or what's wrong with them. Nobody here is anyone's doctor, therapist or reader, and that includes me in this room. If someone wants a reading, they can book one.

Nothing for sale. No promoting readers, services, products, courses or other communities, yours or anyone else's. No links, and no payment handles. Swapping free practice readings with each other here is fine. Ask me first if you're unsure.

What's said here stays here. No screenshots, copies or retellings of another member's posts or messages outside the Sanctuary, even with the name blurred. Don't share anyone's phone number, address, email or workplace. Members post under the name they choose, and you may not try to figure out who someone is.

No hate, no harassment, no spam. No slurs, threats, pile-ons, sexual content, repeated unwanted messages or flooding the feed. Use the report button on any post or comment and I'll see it.

If someone is in crisis. If you're thinking about harming yourself, please call or text 988 in the US, text HOME to 741741, or call your local emergency number; elsewhere, findahelpline.com. You can still say it here. Your post goes up like any other, the site shows you those lines privately, and I'm told so I can reach out. If someone else's post sounds like they may hurt themselves, answer with care and point them to help, then report it with "Someone may be unsafe" so I see it quickly. Please don't try to carry it alone. The Oracle isn't a crisis service either; it's an AI, and when it sees these words it stops and shows the same lines.

How moderation works. Every post, comment and name gets a quick automatic check before it goes up. Simple rules come first (swearing, slurs, links, someone's private details, selling). If those pass, an AI reads the words once and says whether it sees a problem; it is told plainly that sadness, grief, venting and criticism are never a problem. When it is sure something is cruel, hateful, sexual or threatening, the post doesn't go up and you're told why in a sentence. When it isn't sure, your post waits for me to read it, and you see "Your post is waiting for a quick look." If the check itself is down, posts in the members' rooms go up anyway. Three reports from three different members also put a post aside until I've looked. I make the final call, not the machine, and I read everything that's waiting.

I moderate this room myself, with a few members I trust. Moderators carry a Moderator badge. They can put a post aside or let a waiting one go up; they can't see your email. I may edit or remove a post, close a thread, warn you, or remove you from the community. For a serious or repeated breach I may close your membership, and the current month isn't refunded. I'll tell you why.

If you think I got it wrong. Write to me on the direct line in your Sanctuary (Inner Circle) or at [CONTACT EMAIL], and say which post. I'll read it again myself and tell you what I decided.

Your posts. They stay yours. If you leave, you choose whether your posts are removed or left under "a former member". The Privacy Policy has the rest, including what the automatic check sees.
